Amity Technology expands its production facility.

The team at Amity Technology is excited to announce the beginning of an expansion to its current production facility. The building expansion will be approximately 1,021 square meters and will include a refurbishment of the existing paint line to support our conversion from liquid to powder painting. The switch to powder was in response to the heightened customer expectations for paint durability and longevity. We expect the new system will deliver superior finish to our existing setup. Although we will be capable of painting most any color, the plant will predominately paint the Amity Technology standard red and black.

The powder painting and curing will be done in an environmentally controlled room within the new expansion. About 40% of the additional space is devoted to the painting area. The existing paint line will be converted to a pretreatment line that includes a new shot blast booth, wash bay, and a dry off oven that will be converted from the existing cure oven. The existing system has served the plant well over the past 15 years and now we are eagerly awaiting the upgraded one.
